Alex Dixon is the Co-Founder and Director of Product at Monograph. As a trained architect, designer, and software developer, Alex knew he wanted to leverage his expertise to create technology that solves real-world problems. With an intuitive understanding of how software can optimize work performance, Alex’s career has a fresh outlook and tailored focus on the AEC industry.

His background in helping companies deploy custom technologies, through the lens of strategy, design, and development, meant Alex was well-positioned to create a management platform tailored for architects. He then co-founded Monograph with the mission to help architects and engineers oversee projects in an integrated, user-friendly, and ever-evolving interface.

Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Philosophy in Architectural Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Masters of Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Upon graduation, Alex, along with his roommate Moe Amaya, started a digital agency building websites and interactive tools for architects. Soon after meeting Robert Yuen, the three collaborated and formally became partners at Dixon & Moe – the agency from which Monograph was born.
